Welcome to the fifth Agurotech newsletter! In this edition we inform you about the latest features in the Agurotech app, our new AgriScope project, our blog page and trade shows where you can meet us.
Key new features in the app
- Signal strength visible
- Instantly see how strong your sensor’s signal is (Good, Medium, Weak). That’s how you know if the placement is optimal.
- Chatbot via WhatsApp
- From now on you can access our chatbot directly from the app. For quick questions and direct contact with our support team.
- Greenhouse and indoor cultivation
- Indicate whether a crop is in a greenhouse or a covered area. The app then takes this into account and removes rain from the humidity forecast.
- Automatic irrigation detection
- The app automatically recognizes irrigation events and sends you a notification the next day. All you have to do is confirm the amount and time. Less logging, more convenience.
Farmers gain predictive insights thanks to unique combination of sensor data, satellite imagery and AI
Together with ZLTO, Agrifirm, Farmers with GIJS and seven innovative farmers, we are developing AgriScope: a solution that will be ready for the market before the 2027 growing season. With AgriScope, we are linking soil sensor data to field-wide satellite images and analyzing them with AI. This creates unique insights that are both accurate at the field level and practically applicable for daily cropping decisions. This helps growers better predict risks and make targeted adjustments for more efficient water use and more stable yields.
